07/12/2008 UK Presentations Update Please note the following dates and timings for the UK presentations of the National Priorities Research Program.

07/01/2008 UPDATE on Qatar National Research Fund summer 2008 presentations in the US and UK Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF) is planning to visit the US & UK to present the National Research Priorities Program (NPRP) to interested faculty and researchers.

02/21/2008 Undergraduate Research Experience Program 4th cycle Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF), a member of Qatar Foundation, is pleased to announce the 4th cycle of the Undergraduate Research Experience Program (UREP), which offers funds up to US$ 10,000 per student participating in an awarded research proposal. The total funds allocated for this year are US$ 2,750,000.

12/05/2007 Qatar Foundation announce Qatar’s first international research awards Doha, 5th December 2007- Recipients of the inaugural awards from the NPRP have been notified of their success today. Administered by the Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF), a member of Qatar Foundation, the $25 million is spread over 3 years, with $10 million being awarded in the first year.

09/17/2007 National Priorities Research Program exceeds all expectations Doha, 17th September - Following a large-scale communications campaign including public presentations, advertising and mass-emailing the National Research Priorities Program, the flagship program of Qatar National Research Fund, has achieved interest from researchers across the globe far in excess of projections.

09/02/2007 Undergraduate Research Experience Program 3rd Cycle Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF), a member of Qatar Foundation, is pleased to announce the 3rd cycle of the Undergraduate Research Experience Program (UREP), which offers funds up to US$ 10,000 per student participating in an awarded research proposal. 06/03/2007 UREP time schedules The Qatar National Research Fund Announces the following time schedules for its Undergraduate Research Experience Program (UREP)  Announcement of the awarded research proposals for the second UREP cycle near the end of July 2007

05/22/2007 Progress report due date for the first UREP cycle's awarded research proposals Dear faculty members and research students participating in the first UREP cycle awarded research proposals, The first UREP cycle awards were announced on March 4th 2007 and the disbursement of the first grant funds went smoothly, thanks to the exemplary efforts of all of the Finance Directors and departments involved.

04/26/2007 Launching the National Priorities Research Program Qatar National Research Fund “QNRF”, member of Qatar Foundation, is pleased to announce the launching of the first cycle of its flagship program, the National Priorities Research Program “NPRP”, with total fund available of US$10 million which offers funds from US$20,000 up to US$ 250,000.00 per year for a period of up to 3 consecutive years for the successful proposal.
